First of all would I want to be famous in?
Being famous is not always as good as it sounds. Even if you were to get over all those freaky fans and those childhood problems (which I have a lot, so what?), the fame you have is so volatile. You can always be substitued with a better singer, artist or whatever. What I would really want to be is to be admired rather than to be famous. Famous people are artists, they look good to the eyes, ears and heart, but there are lots of peope working behind the scenes that literally saves the world, and scarcely heard about. I want to be one of those guys that improve the world, put things in order, not go to Mars, but the one that has made the calculations necessary to go to Mars and build the space ship. If I'm going to be famous for stopping a meteor, finding the cure for Cancer, or building the first combat space craft (like in Battlestar Gallactica, one of those raptors) than I'm fine with it, but it is not necessary. Do you know the names of the people who developped Amoklavin (an antibiotic)? You don't and they are not famous, but that medicine saves many lifes everyday. I'm not saying that artistry is not important, but unlike Angelina Jolie (or any X artist, actriss, singer etc.) those guys saved our life, and maybe even mine.
In short, I seek no fame, as long as I can clearly see the effects of something that I found. Masses are easily controlled by media and they are often unreliable. I believed that such temporary fame, or fame that is because of the incapability of some masses to understand life deeply is just unnecessary.
